Danny Chua was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer of TNG Digital on 2 November 2020 and is responsible for Touch n’ Go eWallet’s commercial division. Danny has 20 years of corporate and start-up experience in the financial and technology industry.
He joined Touch n’ Go Group from QFPay International, a global payment network that is a major partner of Alipay, WeChat Pay, and other leading mobile wallets in the region and fintech technology partner to financial institutions such CIMB Bank, Bangkok Bank and Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI).
Prior to starting and heading QFPay’s Southeast Asia businesses, he was Head, Payments and Digital Retail at Maxis, Senior Vice President, Payment Services and Giftcard Business at MOL Global (now Razer Fintech), and a Co-founder and Deputy Chief Executive Office of Korvac Group, a pioneer payment start-up in SouthEast Asia. Danny is an advocate of start-ups and has invested interests in sustainability and social enterprises.
He holds a double-degree of Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Engineering from RMIT University, Australia.
