Kaya Qin was appointed as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd. on 11 June 2024.
A seasoned and dynamic eCommerce leader with a trailblazing spirit, Kaya is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lazada Malaysia.
Kaya joined Lazada in June 2018 as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Lazada Vietnam, where she drove the commercial business and eCommerce platform operations, before leading the market as its CEO in 2022 and as Lazada Group’s COO the same year.
Prior to joining Lazada, Kaya held several leadership roles in different business units within the Alibaba Group. She spearheaded the company’s strategic business development projects and accelerated its growth across all focus areas.
She has also worked for a major international FMCG company in China, serving as its senior brand director.
Kaya graduated with a Master’s Degree in Economics from Nanjing University and a joint Master’s Programme with Johns Hopkins University.
